CONNECTIONS
A Seat at the Table
One of our joys in this church is that we love our community and love any opportunity to serve food. When we started our Sunday Socials at the beginning of 2025 after our sermon series on the theology of food, our prayer was that through a seat at the table and sharing a meal with one another, we would practice the hospitality of Jesus.
Just like the early church did as they broke bread and remembered God’s goodness, we too want to sit beside one another in fellowship and remember all that God has done for us and celebrate His goodness to us. Your generosity helps us continue to provide a space for a meal and a place to sit around a table with one another, so thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at our next Sunday Social!

YOUTH
Investing in the Next Generation
Ridge Youth is a place where youth come on Wednesday nights to connect with other teens and their leaders, learn about God, and have a couple of retreats throughout the year to refocus and recenter Christ as the centre of their lives. While Ridge Youth runs from September to June, they take a break over the summer to encourage students to go to summer camp and break out of their normal rhythms. We know that this can be a massive catalyst for faith maturity and faith.
One of the countless results of your faithful giving was that before the start of one such week at Camp Qwanoes, a weeklong overnight camp committed to sharing the gospel and helping students grow in leadership, we were able to sponsor a teen who was in the middle of a massive life change and needed a little extra support in being able to go to Camp Qwanoes. As a result of your generosity, they were able to step out in faith and came home with a new appreciation for parts of their life, having seen and heard God moving in other people’s lives. Their excitement has led their family to take steps in their faith as well.
BAPTISMS
Celebrating New Life
Baptism is a beautiful celebration of someone choosing to follow Jesus and publicly declaring their faith. Every baptism is a reminder of God’s transforming work and an opportunity for our church family to celebrate together. Your generosity helps create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, take their next step of faith, and find a community that will walk alongside them.
Giving financially is an act of worship and a practical way to take part in what God is doing through His church. Everything we have is a gift from God, and giving is one way we respond with gratitude and trust (1 Chronicles 29:14). Our generosity supports the ministry of the church, helps care for people in need, and creates opportunities for more people to hear the good news of Jesus. Together, we help make it possible for our city and people around the world to know Jesus.
The Bible encourages us to give thoughtfully and cheerfully, without pressure or obligation (2 Corinthians 9:7). Giving is not about earning God’s favour or meeting a certain amount, it is a response to the grace we have already received in Jesus. As we give according to our means (2 Corinthians 8:12), we grow in generosity, learn to trust God with our resources, and share in the work of His kingdom.
