Ridge Kids
Helping Kids Know Jesus and Grow in Community
RIDGEKIDS is our ministry for children from nursery through Grade 5, designed to help them build a lifelong relationship with Jesus in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Through age-specific Bible teaching, worship, and activities, kids discover who God is and how much He loves them. Each week, they grow in faith while building friendships that last.
We also host special connection events like Kids Night Out, creating even more opportunities for kids to experience God’s love and community. When they're ready for the next stage, our Junior and Senior Youth Ministry (Grades 6–12) is ready to welcome them in.
Kids' Classes
Growing Faith in Every Stage
Each Sunday, RidgeKids offers fun, age-appropriate classes for children from nursery to Grade 5. Through Bible stories, worship, crafts, and play, kids are invited to discover who Jesus is in a way they can understand. Our caring team creates a safe and welcoming space where every child can learn, grow, and build friendships rooted in faith.
Check-In Process
1. Visit the Ridge Kids Check-In Station
When you arrive, stop by the check-in table. Volunteers will print two stickers — one for your child and one barcode tag for you to keep. If it’s your first time, a volunteer will help register your family as a visitor or new registration.
2. Enter the Classroom with a Label
Your child must have their name tag before going into their classroom. Classrooms open at 10:20am, where leaders will welcome them, sign them in on clipboards, and start fun activities.
3. Safe Pick-Up with Matching Tag
At 11:45am, return to your child’s classroom. Show your matching barcode sticker to the leader, who will confirm it before releasing your child.

Fun Moments That Build Faith and Friendship
Our Kids' Events are all about creating fun, memorable experiences where kids can grow in their faith and deepen their friendships outside of Sunday mornings. From themed nights like Kids Night Out, to seasonal celebrations and outreach opportunities, these events are designed to help kids discover the joy of following Jesus in everyday life. Each event is safe, engaging, and led by our awesome RidgeKids team.
Teddy Bear Picnic
Join Ridge Kids for a fun-filled Teddy Bear Picnic. Bring your favourite teddy bear along for the adventure! Families with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are invited to enjoy a special morning together. Teddy-themed activities, crafts, sensory play, games, snacks, stories, outdoor fun, and opportunities to connect with other families. Invite a friend and join us for this special community event!

Ridge Kids Soccer Camp
Join us August 17–21 at Albion Park in Maple Ridge for the RidgeKids Athletes in Action Soccer Camp! Kids in Grades 1–5 will enjoy soccer skill-building, games, team challenges, and meaningful small group time in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Whether beginner or experienced, every child is welcome to kick, pass, score, and grow this summer!
